Those who listen to Nudozurdo knows they are like a river. You will never bathe twice in the same Nudozurdo. A band that has made its way little by little since they first recorded “Sintética” with an elaborate and contained pop. Leo Mateos started to be interested in synthesizers and software and all the possibilities they offered to liberate its most personal experimentations. Their parallel project, Acuario, is the axe to cut the trees that prevented from see the forest. That forest could not be of course a place for peace and tranquility.
Rojo es peligro, their fourth album, is as disturbing as their first, only now it is not as evident, on the contrary. This collection of 10 songs condense an amalgame of styles that does not lose at any time the profound Nudozurdo’s personal mark that shines more than ever in this new release. The former darkness and urgency have now become light and space, songs that breathe and Leo Mateo’s guitars are punctilious, not that thick, the moderate drums are not machines and their synthesizers are an important piece in the album.
